Where We Are
The
Realais Twelve is located in one of the main streets of the
historic center of Florence characterized by the presence of numerous artisan shops and, in particular, of historical masters of leather tanning. Not far from the Relais,
you will find the main museums of the city, the closest one is the
Medici Chapels at the
Basilica of San Lorenzo. Do not forget to taste the typical local dishes in the characteristic
central market, while you are discovering the oldest streets of this town.

How to reach us
BY CAR
IMPORTANT:
The center of Florence is closed to traffic, unless you have special permits, granted by the police for limited periods.
We suggest to avoid to park in the area, due to the high prices of the parking taxes.
You can park your vehicles in our car park which is few meters from our property and costs € 21 per day. You can reserve your car park at the moment of booking, writing at:

From A1 Firenze-Nord exit / exit A11 motorway Firenze-mare
Follow for Firenze Centro.
From the Fortezza, follow to via Valfonda. Go straight to Via Bernardo Cenni, and turn left.
Continue to the intersection of Via Faenza, then straight on this street for about two hundred meters, and continue straight on until you pass the crossroad with Via Nazionale, then the one with Via Panicale and the last one Via Sant'Antonino.
You will find Relais Twelve on the left, at number 12.
From A1 Firenze-Sud exit
Follow the ring road "Via Marco Polo" until the end, keeping to the left. Follow the direction Firenze-Centro. Continue straight on Via Enrico de Nicola. Continue straight ahead on Lungarno Colombo.
At the end of the avenue you will find a compulsory right turn. Continue straight on the avenues following this order: Viale Giovanni Amendola, Piazza Cesare Beccaria, Viale Antonio Gramsci, Piazzale Donatello, Viale Giacomo Matteotti. When you arrive at Piazza della Libertà, keep left and follow the avenue on your left.
you should be in Spartaco Lavagnini Avenue. Continue straight until and you will turn the Garden of the Fortress.
Here you will have to circumnavigate the garden following avenue Filippo Strozzi; Once at the 2nd traffic light, you have to turn left and before the underpass. Here you will find the Fortezza da Basso-Binario 16 parking lot. If you want to park somewhat closer to the property, you will have to follow the signs for Firenze- Stazione S.M.N.
Due to the number of road construction sites due to the construction of new tram lines, we highly recommend you to follow directions and have a navigator with the maps updated with you, in order to avoid unpleasant traffic and orientation problems In our beautiful city.
BY TRAIN:
From Santa Maria Novella Station
The Santa Maria Novella station is a few meters from our position. Exiting the station (you will be in front of the apse of the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella), go straight to Piazza dell'Unità Italiana. Go right on Via Sant'Antonino, up to via Faenza. Relais Twelve is on the left at number 12.
BY PLANE:
From Florence Airport
From Peretola Airport, you can safely reach Relais Twelve with an NCC or taxi service, or you can take advantage of the shuttle bus service that stops at the bus station in via Santa Caterina da Siena, a few meters from Santa Maria Novella Station . For more information, please visit:

From Pisa Airport
At the airport of Pisa, various services will take you to Florence. For example, you can take advantage of the new People Mover service that connects by train the airport with the main Tuscan stations, including Santa Maria Novella.
There are also numerous bus companies that take you directly from the terminals to Santa Maria Novella station or to the Fortezza, prices range from 10 to 24 Euros depending on the service chosen.
